The Mission of St. Malachy Catholic School

At St. Malachy Catholic School, we believe that every student is called to Become Who You Are Meant to Be. Inspired by the teachings of Christ and the example of Our Lady, we foster an environment where students discover and develop their unique, God-given gifts and fosters their spiritual, intellectual and creative growth.

Our Vision

At St. Malachy Catholic School, we are committed to recognizing each child as a unique gift from God. We educate students in a way that allows them to become the best version of themselves. We help them recognize and develop their diverse gifts and talents so that they may use them to serve their community and their world as Jesus taught. Our educators, staff members, parents, guardians, and members of our parish community all partner together to provide the lessons, opportunities, and care to help our children grow. The St. Malachy community must shine resplendent so that every student may become who they are meant to be.

Our Mascot

The St. Malachy Owl mascot is the result of a sign from God. During Masses offered on March 5, 2023, Superintendent Dr. Jim Rigg joined us in announcing the reopening of our school to our parishioners. Following one Mass, as we went to tour the school, a small owl was standing on a cross near the school. We believe this owl was a burrowing owl, which represents some of the most important qualities of our students and teachers: wisdom, creativity, and dedication to family. Being a St. Malachy Owl is a real hoot!
